 NVIDIA ACE Looks to Disrupt Gaming Industry

        At the end of May, NVIDIA announced NVIDIA Avatar Cloud Engine, or ACE, an AI development interface designed to dominate the gaming industry. ACE can provide real-time AI solutions for the development and deployment of interactive avatars and applications. It will have a large impact on the creation and usage of internet avatars and allow for more human-appearing artificial intelligence entities with more humanistic speech and responsiveness.

ACE has been demonstrated to have three major capabilities. Its first is its ease of use in creating avatars. It understands realism as well as different art styles to create an AI avatar best suited for its use. Some examples are a more friendly and cartoonish avatar for a customer service AI or a more human-esque avatar for an intelligent chatbot. This ability to create different AI avatars for different uses allows for say a company's mascot to be able to be the voice for customer support, as well as appear in advertisements in a look that draws more attention.

ACE's second feature is its ability to utilize other NVIDIA applications. To create more lifelike artificial intelligence, ACE incorporates NVIDIA Riva and NeMo language services to help improve the real feeling of its AI avatars. ACE also utilizes Omniverse Audio2Face to animate its 2D and 3D avatars. 3D models are brought to life in Unreal Engine, and other rendering tools help give them realistic facial expressions and body language.

ACE's final feature is its flexibility. Avatars can be deployed across any engine and any public or private cloud system. Omniverse ACE allows the development and deployment of AI interactive avatars in real-time or offline instances. This allows for constant AI use and growth as it is used in a variety of circumstances.

The gaming industry has been put on notice by NVIDIA that no job is safe. From animation to interactive dialogue, NVIDIA ACE can create and perform the tasks of game developers. ACE could absolutely be the future of gaming as well as AI interactions.
